Wow, let me tell you, this book is a must-read for all you book lovers out there! I, Sarah, couldn’t put it down once I started reading. The way Lurlene McDaniel wrote ‘Six Months to Live’ had me laughing and crying at the same time. It’s like she reached into my heart and tugged at every emotion possible. This book is a rollercoaster of feelings and I loved every minute of it.
As soon as I finished reading ‘Six Months to Live’, I immediately called my friend Emily and told her she needed to read it ASAP. And guess what? She did! And just like me, she couldn’t stop raving about it. Emily said it was one of the most heartwarming books she’s ever read. She even teared up a little (don’t tell anyone I told you that). We both agree that this book is a must-have for any bookshelf.
Last but not least, my cousin Jake who never reads anything besides sports magazines actually picked up ‘Six Months to Live’ and read the whole thing in one sitting (I know right?!). He came up to me afterwards with tears in his eyes (yes, even tough guys cry) and thanked me for recommending such an amazing book. He even said he wants to read more from Lurlene McDaniel now! That’s how good this book is – it converts non-readers into avid readers.

I can’t believe how much I loved “Six Months to Live” by Lurlene McDaniel! As soon as I finished the last page, I immediately wanted to start reading it all over again. This book had me laughing, crying, and everything in between. The story of Dawn Rochelle’s battle with leukemia was both heart-wrenching and heart-warming at the same time. It’s a must-read for anyone who loves a good emotional rollercoaster.
Not only did this book make me feel all the feels, but it also had some serious plot twists that kept me on the edge of my seat. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, McDaniel threw in another curveball that had me gasping out loud. It’s not often that a book can surprise me like that, so kudos to the author for keeping me on my toes.
Last but certainly not least, I have to give a shoutout to McDaniel for her amazing writing style. She has a way of making you feel like you’re right there with the characters, experiencing everything they are. I found myself completely invested in Dawn’s journey and rooting for her every step of the way. “Six Months to Live” is definitely one of my favorite books now and I can’t wait to read more from this talented author.
